Louisiana Thoroughbred Breeders Association Awarded Two Scholarships at Louisiana Cup Day at Louisiana Downs
(Bossier City, La.) – Louisiana Cup Day took place on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at Louisiana Downs in Bossier City, Louisiana. The Louisiana Thoroughbred Breeders Association (LTBA) awarded two scholarships each valued at $1,000 during the event.

The Louisiana Thoroughbred Breeders Association has evolved from a small group of horsemen who united in 1963 to the top thoroughbred breeding program in the United States. LTBA awarded two (2) scholarships to Louisiana college students, Demi Varuso and Rachel Petticrew, both students at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette
